John Bell Exhibit - Original Paintings

Two hundred years in the making, 2018 will mark the bicentennial of one of the oldest cities in the country, Fort Smith, AR. To help celebrate this historic event, RAM has organized an exhibition by Fort Smith legend and native, John Bell, Jr. (1937-2013).

Bell was an acclaimed American painter and sculptor whose career spanned nearly fifty years. His memories and influences of western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma are the topics reflected in most of his works. Bell had a keen appreciation for the beauty of our state and the character of its people.

This dynamic exhibit will showcase works by John Bell, Jr. that reside in private collections across our region, brought together to honor this truly unique artist and his works, that literally painted our local history.

Community Strikes Back Bowling Tournament

Help strike out child abuse at the 4th Annual “Community Strikes Back” bowling tournament, hosted by the Commissary Kiwanis Club. The event is sponsored by First National Bank of Fort Smith and will take place Saturday, March 10, at Bowling World. The event is open to all ages and skill level. Each team will play three games to compete for prizes based on scores and costumes, while benefitting our children in crisis. Games will start at approximately 1 pm and all proceeds directly benefit the CES.

The cost of participation per team is $160.

Big Daddy Weave Concert with Brandon Heath

Big Daddy Weave is hitting the road beginning this January for the Jesus I Believe Tour with special guest, Brandon Heath. Presented by World Vision, the tour kicks off in Camp Hill, PA and is slated to play 55 U.S. cities before wrapping on May 20th. It comes on the release of Big Daddy Weave’s newest radio single “Jesus I Believe” and follows their successful Fall 2017 Set Free tour, which hit 50+ cities across 24 states. The tour will feature beloved Christian music artist Brandon Heath, a five-time GRAMMY-nominated singer/songwriter. Heath is debuting his sixth studio album titled Faith Hope Love Repeat, featuring the hit single “Whole Heart.”
