The Chamber is encouraging the community to participate during the week to promote wellness in Fort Smith.  Ideas for participation for businesses, churches, schools and families are listed below.  Be creative and have WELLNESS on your mind the entire week.  Additionally, we'd like participants to share their progress, stories and photos with us through tagging the Fort Smith Regional Chamber page on Facebook and Tweeting with the hashtag #FSWellnessWeek.

2018 Chamber Perks - 5 Dysfunctions of a Team

Date: Wednesday, January 31, 2018
Time: 8:00am to 10:00am
Location: Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce Board Room 612 Garrison

Event Description:
As a "perk" of membership, we are offering a variety of educational opportunities for your business and/or profession throughout the year.   It is our hope that these "Chamber Perk" sessions will help you to grow your business, improve cohesiveness within your teams and ultimately position you and your team for much success in 2018!   There will also be ample time to network and meet other like-minded individuals in our community!

The "Five Dysfunctions of a Team" by Patrick Lencioni, outlines the root causes of politics and dysfunction on the teams where you work, and the keys to overcoming them.  Counter to conventional wisdom, the causes of dysfunction are both identifiable and curable.

Please join us on Wednesday, January 31 as Phillip McClure introduces us to this great book that has been a tool in getting teams aligned and rowing in the same direction.  This will be an introductory session with an opportunity to learn more about other opportunities that will be offered over the next few months.   Many may be familiar with Phillip as a class facilitator in our Leadership Fort Smith program which is in its 30th year.  Many will attest that he is a dynamic facilitator and has worked with a number of companies and organizations in our region.
