Magic: The Gathering

Bring your wits, skills, and, of course, cards to the Library's Magic: The Gathering meetup. Newcomers and veterans of the game alike are welcome to come play for fun or practice for upcoming tournaments. Magic: The Gathering is a card game of strategy and luck using creatures, spells, and enchantments to drain your opponent's life force before they do the same to you. Ages 8-18 are welcome, as well as families.

Making God Laugh @ Fort Smith Little Theatre

2017 Healthcare Reception

Healthcare is key to economic development, which is why the Chamber feels it is so important to provide practical solutions for the retention and recruitment of physicians to the region. Each year, the Chamber and the Healthcare Council express our gratitude to current physicians, healthcare providers and welcome the new physicians to the Greater Fort Smith Region, in addition to, presenting our Healthcare Award to a healthcare provider who has made a significant contribution to the community. The Healthcare Reception offers our sponsors the opportunity to meet and give back to our area physicians and healthcare providers. 

Guests who attend and visit each of our sponsors table displays will be entered to win a piece of jewelry from the Diamond Center.

Harpist Hollye Dickinson, a certified music practitioner who performs routinely for patients and families at Mercy Medical Center, will provide music for the event.

Open Mic Night @ Dewey's Cafe

Join us for a fun, casual open mic night at Dewey's Cafe'. Musicians, poets, and other talented folks are invited to perform. Sign-up at the door; arrive early to ensure a spot on the list. Showcase your talent or just come and listen. Music or poetry does not have to be original work- come and share a favorite poem or musical piece with us! Acoustic music only please; we look forward to seeing you!
