From December 5th through the 22nd, the Creekmore Holiday Express will run from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. every single day with the exception of Sundays.

Christmas Honors Event – Laying of the Wreaths

Location: Fort Smith National Cemetery 522 S 6th St, Fort Smith, AR

Each December, thousands of community volunteers from all over the region come together to transform the Fort Smith National Cemetery by placing one wreath on each of the thousands of headstones in honor of every man and woman’s service to our country.

Family Time 8:00 AM -10:30 AM
Please respect this time to allow the families of our heroes to lay wreaths on their loved one’s headstone(s).

Public Ceremony – 11:00 AM
Following the ceremony, attendees will be asked to lay wreaths on all remaining headstones.

Annual Open House @ Fort Smith Museum of History

Welcome the season with the Fort Smith Museum of History.  Enjoy cookies, hot chocolate and free museum admission Saturday, December 16, 2:00-5:00 pm. Learn the history of the city as you enjoy the traditions of Open House.

The Nutcracker

It's that time of the year again! The 32nd annual production of The Nutcracker is almost here! It is a timeless classic with a cast of over 100 children and adults. Taylor Sambola and Arcadian Broad will be our Sugar Plum Fairy and Cavailier. Taylor and Arcadian are from Orlando Ballet, Orlando, FL. We are excited to have these fantastic dancers joining us this year. Tickets will go on sale on November 6 at www.waballet.org. 

Immediately after the performance, there will be a meet and greet with the cast and photo opportunities. Please plan ahead for parking. We hope to see you there!

Tickets are $25 adults and $15 children/students (all children must have a ticket; university students may purchase a child ticket then present a student ID with the ticket at the door)
