Fall Farm Fun @ Wild Things Farm

Join us for pumpkins, hayrides, pony rides, petting farm, mountain slide, corn maze, jumping pillow, and fall decorations. Many items in our snack bar to choose from. Also serving roasted nuts and cider donuts.

Admission $12/person, under 18 months free.

Fort Smith Farmer's Market

Welcome to the Fort Smith Farmers Market, where our commitment to fresh, locally grown produce and handmade goods has helped the Arkansas River Valley grow into a healthier and greener community with an emphasis on shopping local.

Since 2003, the market has offered the finest in locally produced vegetables, fruits, flowers, plants, meats, baked goods, honey, eggs, jams, juried crafts, and fine art from a 90 mile radius of Fort Smith. 

We Are Open Year Round In Historic Downtown Fort Smith located at the corner of North 2nd Street & Garrison Avenue 

~ every Saturday (7am-Noon) & 
~ every Tuesday (April-November 7am-Noon)

Each market day is a feast for the senses. We invite you to come sample the bountiful cornucopia of produce our area provides. 

The Saturday market is alive with street performers, local musicians, community organizations, tourists and locals alike. As many as 90 vendors set up each week in beautiful historic downtown Fort Smith and represent the diversity of the area. 

There is plenty of parking nearby, as well as handicapped parking on site. We gladly accept SNAP/EBT Cards on Saturday’s ONLY. 

We are honored to bring the freshest produce & the best handmade products to everyone in The River Valley. Make plans to stop by this week and see what’s new, we look forward to seeing you!

Hiking North Rim Trail at Mt Magazine State Park

Date: Saturday, November 4, 2017
Time: 8:00am to 12:00pm
Location: Meet at Home Depot Parking Lot 5101 Phoenix Avenue Fort Smith, A

Starting from the Visitor's Center, we will hike the North Rim Trail, visit Cameron Bluff and go to the top of Signal Hill.  If you have never stood on the highest point in Arkansas, this is your opportunity.  From there, we will head back to the Visitor's Center for a total distance of about 6 miles rated moderate.  Bring lunch and water. Peggy is hike leader.

Meet at Home Depot in Fort Smith to carpool/caravan. 

We will leave at 8 AM.

Arkansas River Holiday Market 2017

Blacksmith Demonstration

The Fort Smith Museum of History will host the Blacksmith Organization of Arkansas, River Valley Chapter, on Saturday, November 4, 2017, 10:30 am-3:00 pm. A blacksmith demonstration will be offered free in the parking lot of the museum. Items made by the organization will be offered for sale. Great gift idea! The Blacksmith Organization of Arkansas is dedicated to preserving the skills, techniques and traditions of blacksmithing.

2017 Veterans Day Parade at Chaffee Crossing

True Grit & Grind Burlesque's 2nd Annual Halloween Hangover

Halloween isn't over just yet, ghouls and guys! Kevin Honey, Beatnic Betty,Moxie Cyanid, and Scandi Lust have been working hard on all new numbers to titilate and terrify. Special guest, Ro Manic of Little Rock will tease and please with her fans and frenzy. The always amazing Sacred Somatics will provide firey entertainment at intermission and of course, our Master of Ceremonies is the incomprable Mr. Jim Dick.

Costumes are encouraged! 21+. Show starts at 10:00 CST, get there early to get a good spot. $8 cover.
