Fall Farm Fun @ Wild Things Farm

Friends of the Library Annual Used Book Sale

Educators, home schoolers, and anyone who loves sharing books with children and teens won’t want to miss this new Friends of the Library used book sale featuring ONLY books and media for children and young adults.

Thousands of fiction and non-fiction books for children and young adults will be available at bargain prices. Videos and other non-print formats will be for sale too! Come stock up for your home or classroom library.

Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Fort Smith Public Library which provides supplemental funding for library programs, materials, and much more.

Wal-Mart DC 5k run for the Arkansas Children's Hospitals

October 28th Come help Save Lives Step by Step along with Wal-Mart DC in Ft. Smith. All proceeds will go to the Arkansas Children's Hospitals.

Magic: The Gathering @ Dewey's Cafe

Bring your wits, skills, and of course, cards to the Library’s Magic: The Gathering meetup. Newcomers and veterans of the game alike are welcome to come play for fun or practice for upcoming tournaments. Magic: The Gathering is card game of strategy and luck using creatures, spells, and enchantments to drain your opponent’s life force before they do the same to you. All ages are welcome at this weekly gathering at the Café. All purchases made at the café support the Fort Smith Public Library.

Flute and Drum Circle

Date: Saturday, October 28, 2017

Location: Yogaterrium 2712 Grand Ave Fort Smith, Arkansas

Monthly Flute & Drum Circle at Yogaterrium. The drum and flute circle started back in 2009 from a few of the local and area enthusiasts. We meet the LAST Saturday of each month where we play the Native American Flute.

We also have a session of group drumming with all kinds of drums and percussion instruments. You do not have to be a trained flute player or drummer to participate.

Come with an open mind and a willingness to try something new, extra instruments are often available.

Donations are requested for the use of the space.

Only a few chairs are available, for those who need to sit down in chairs please plan to bring your own to be sure you have one available.

Circle starts at 1:00 PM Come out and give the circle a listen or a try.

Murder & Mayhem Haunted Trolley Tour and Progressive Dinner

The Fort Smith Museum of History's popluar “Murder and Mayhem Haunted Trolley Tour" event has expanded the thrill this year by including two of the most popular historic venue's in the Belle Grove District, The Bonneville House and The Clayton House. Together we will be offering a Haunted Trolley Tour & Progressive Dinner.
The Trolley tour features haunted and gruesome stories from years past. We will begin the evening with complimentary Halloween treats, drinks and ghost stories along with a peek at haunted areas of the Fort Smith Museum of History.
Judge and Mrs. Isaac C. Parker, portrayed by Floyd and Sue Robison, narrate the tour, which begins at the Fort Smith Museum of History on October 26th at 6:00pm.
Trolley Tours at 5:30 pm and 7:30 pm

Cost: $75.00

Haunted Union

Haunted Union is hosted annually in October as a safe Halloween community event. Events include a haunted house, carnival games, trunk-or-treat, and face painting.
All of the Fort Smith community is invited to attend!

RAM’s Annual Art Affair: Searching for the Seventies

Admission: $75 per person for RAM members; $100 per person for non-members

Dust off your bell bottoms and throw on your love beads for RAM’s Annual Art Affair Searching for the Seventies.
