U.S. Congressman Trey Gowdy (SC-4) will headline the United States Marshals Museum's second Winthrop Paul Rockefeller Distinguished Lecture Series in Fort Smith on Thursday, April 20.

The three-part series, made possible by a grant from Mrs. Lisenne Rockefeller in 2014, welcomes leaders from the executive, judicial and legislative branches of the government to Fort Smith to speak about the U.S. Marshals Service’s history within each branch. The inaugural lecture in 2015 featured the late Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court Antonin Scalia.

The public lecture will be held at the Fort Smith Convention Center in Exhibit Hall B on Thursday, April 20 at 1 p.m. It will include an introduction by U.S. Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3).

While free, reservations will be required for admission.
